Has anyone tried the Grub Burger Bar? It's on the west side of Greenville, just north of University. Looks nice from the outside.

I went a week or two after they opened. Burger I got wasn't great, but they get a mulligan since they were just getting up and running. Prob will give it another shot sometime.

I went three weeks ago. Same concept as Hopdoddy's...I ended up getting food poisoning from Grub but it tasted good at the time...

Dutch's last night before the texas vs tcu game. As opposed to my usual "Dutch", I went for the "Lineman" - outstanding. Hands down, the best burger I have ever had. I try to make the trip at least once a month - I think you'd agree - it's worth the drive. dutchshamburgers.com

Wow I totally have to disagree. Haven't eaten at dutch's in a couple years, but I thought their burger was outright bad. That might be because I really hate that type of bun, but give me absolutely any other burger over dutch's. the place that was there before was a lot better. Give me Love Shack any day of the week.

(I realize I am probably in the minority since I see a lot of good reviews for Dutch's, but I really hate their burgers!)

Had a chance yesterday, but opted for the Bacon Bomb at Twisted Root. Outstanding.

My office is in the building next door, so I have tried it twice. It's solid but nothing special IMO it's on par with smash burger and not nearly as good a liberty burger.

And …. we have a new entry: FM Smoke House in Las Colinas. Found it by accident and loved it. (First of all, try the four-cheese queso as an appetizer. Wow.)

They have some unusual things on the menu (quail, boar, etc.), but because I'm a purist, I went with the burger. The owner explained that it's some kind of beef that sounds tasty (I forget the name) with some pork fat in it for flavor, and it was awesome. REALLY flavorful, powerful onion, etc., and the gouda cheese was the finishing touch. It was fantastic.
