4-2 doesn't look like that close of a match, but SMU was 1 game away from winning the 3rd set at #6 singles to tie it up 3-3, but lost at #3 singles in the 3rd set just before that happened. Baylor got all they wanted and then some from the Lady Mustangs.

Yeah, watching the live feed, I was hoping that Kseniia would win at #6 to at least get us the third point before Natalia lost at #2. From our perspective, too bad our #4 and #5 couldn't have performed a bit better today. Looks like it was a very tough match right down to the end.

doubles was amazing high quality tennis and at 2-2 in the third set at line 3 singles, the match was still anyones to win since #6 was winning. A Baylor player was interviewed afterward and asked if this was a top 25 team and replied no. She then added that this was a top 10 team. Nat and Pavi played as well as they did last year when they beat the #1 team in the nation from Notre Dame in a tremendous match at #2.
