I was given conditional admission! My question I'm hoping you guys can answer is whats the difference between a first-year transfer student and a transfer student?

Gust guessing but I think that means that you will have, or need to, take some freshman(first year) classes somewhere like Brookhaven this summer

My parents made me take classes at Austin Community College the summer before I started at SMU to prove I was worth $120,000 in tuition
