I think if you want to be a new season ticket holder you reserve a spot (possibly w a small deposit) and will get your choice after season ticket holders based on pts and for remaining non-pt folks when you got on the list.

No big deal

Exactly. You put down $25 for each seat you would like. The ticket office will call you after season ticket holders have renewed.

I just bought football season tickets for the first time this year. Can those of you who have been ticket holders for a while give me a rough idea of the pricing for basketball? I just started a new job and am working on the budget so not sure if I can do both this year, but sure would love to if I can.

Happy to help:

The OO, LL, MM (retractable blue seats) are $360 per seat but expect those to go up.

The sidelines seats (mainly the older stiff folding blue chairs) are $180 per seat. They might see a small increase.

The baseline seats (behind the backboards) are $90 per seat. They probably will stay the same.

Thanks, Mitch. That definitely helps. Is there a similar Mustang Club requirement like there is for Football in terms of what seats you can select, or do the points just go to priority if you want to select a section/change a section?

No Mustang Club donation like there is in football. However, the ticket office is taking a $25 per seat deposit so you can get on the list of prospects. For example, if you want four seats, you pay $100 now and whatever section you choose, that deposit will be applied for the purchase. You would owe the balance.

There will be pick a seat function at Moody sometime in June. I think once the season ticket holders (about 700 of them are established), you can come over and see where you want to sit.

Two buddies of mine and I are each doing a seat and will be sitting together. We're looking forward to it.

Plus, it's a good idea to do it now because you would be on the priority list to renew for 2013-14 season when Big East play starts.

Actually, I think there is a Mustang Club donation required for the middle section of seats on the north side (across from the benches), at least there was 5 years ago when I decided to buy my seats on the south side.

It was a pretty small donation if I recall correctly. I just chose the south side because there were better seats available.

I expect that there will be a lot more excitement this next bball season and hence a much better attendance. Let's show coach Brown and his staff that we really do care.

When I called a couple of weeks ago for tickets, contributions to MC will determine pecking order, but that should not surprise anyone.
