We crossed Chip's off our list a couple of years ago. BUT, something happened there - we heard that things had changed - and, sure enough, they have. The crowds are back and the place is better than it ever was. Still not that best-burger-I-ever-ate-in-my-whole-life like you get at Dutch's, but it's back to being a reliable choice if you're eating in the neighborhood.

Milo's when Scotty is working the kitchen makes a damn good burger. His special fry seasoning that only he uses is great too.

You like the Milo's burger? Really? Reminded me of the cafeteria at my high school ... maybe.

I went to Chip's a few weeks ago, and was pleasantly surprised. Much better than I remembered.

I agree with Chips. I don't know why it fell out of favor among the burgerscenti but the meat is consistently fresh and the buns are great. Nothing fancy. Maybe that is their problem. Simple.

you don't get much more simple than 110, but most of us seem to love their burger.

Yes, new owners at chips, they are doing great. They cleaned the place up, added a full bar and patio. Their bottled Beer is the COLDEST I've ever had in Dallas. Even have Gluten Free buns and dedicated fryer for fries. (wife has celiacs) The burger isn't my favorite, BUT they have a Santa Fe Chicken sandwich that is unreal and goes great with an iced cold one. Jalapeno cheese bread, monterey cheese, chicken, caramalized onions and jalapenos, it is awesome.

yea, there's nothing like biting into a burger and realizing it's filled with cheese. Barcadia on Knox Henderson makes a pretty good one too with ...service and crowd is always a little iffy though

Because of the referrals here, I went to Barley House to try the Juicy Lucy.

Very good.

Then I went to Jake's.

Off the charts.

The fact that my co-worker ordered a salad was a little bit intolerable, but my burger was even better than I remembered.

A friend introduced me to a new burger joint tonight: Goodfriend Burger House and Beergarden.

To be more specific, a friend introduced me to the best burger I have ever had tonight. They have a good selection of beers, and the fries are good, but holy *!%# ... I nearly yelled when I took my first bite, and I don't react that strongly to food most of the time.

I'd love to come up with some eloquent description of the burger and why it's so good, but I can't. It's just awesome. The one I got had cheddar, onion, lettuce and fried baloney on it -- not what the cardiologist might recommend, but good beyond description.

I can't recommend this place highly enough.

How much garden beer did you drink before the burger. This could disqualify you from ranking authority,
