Chambron Pinho Named ACC Co-Defensive Player Of The Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (ACC/SMU) – SMU Men's Soccer senior defender Kyran Chambron Pinho has been named Atlantic Coast Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference on Tuesday. He shared the honors with Notre Dame's Kyle Genenbacher.

Chambron Pinho was prominent in SMU's 3-0 win over Wake Forest on Friday. Along with his defensive role, he assisted Enzo Panozzo's first SMU goal and scored the Mustangs' third goal on Friday Night's shutout win.

The Frankfurt, Germany, native has scored five goals and made three assists this season. Among his five goals, he has scored three from a direct free kick and one from a corner kick.

The Mustangs will travel to Louisville for their ACC regular season finale on Nov. 1.
